Children and Youth Ministry

Children and youth are a very significant focus of our ministry here at East Woods.  Therefore, giving children a firm foundation for faith development is the primary goal of our ministries to children.  In our ministry to youth, we focus on helping young people become growing disciples of Jesus Christ as they face a world

 that increasingly challenges

 that belief system.

Child Care:  Infants and toddlers, three years and under are invited to be a part of our nursery.  During

each service, two adults provide loving Christian care

in the nursery.

Sunday School:  Sunday school is offered during the second half of the service.  The PreK/K class (ages

3-K), the primary class (Gr 1-2) and the intermediate

class

(Gr 3-5) receive Bible-based learning in a fun-filled environment, using age-appropriate lessons from the

We Believe curriculum.

Youth in grades 6–12 gather for fellowship and study.  Lessons focus on Bible learning, as well as, topical

discussions appropriate and engaging for teens.

Youth Group:  Youth Groups meet once a week when school

is in session.  Mid-High (6th – 8th grade) meets on Sunday

nights from 6:30-8PM.  Senior High (9th – 12th grades) meets

on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30PM.  Weekly meetings

include fun games, interesting discussions and fellowship.
