Spiritual Formation and Discipleship

This ministry includes a Lenten Worship Series, Adult Education classes, the Women’s and Men’s Retreats, and coordinates the lending library for the exchange of books.  We attempt to link discipleship opportunities with worship and fellowship experiences.

Adult Education:  Two or three classes, ranging from

6-7 weeks in length, are held annually for adults.

Classes include a meal fellowship followed by the

interactive class.

Women’s and Men’s Retreats:  Both groups meet

annually for a weekend retreat.  These include guest speakers, recreation, meal fellowship and time for

reflection.

Lenten Worship:  In the weeks before Easter, a Lenten worship/study is held.   As with other classes, a meal is provided by the class members.  The fellowship around the table and the sharing of experiences, as was done in the early church, helps strengthen the bond among the participants and can lead to an increase in faith.

Book Lending Library:  Books are available for check out in

our “Cry Room”.
