Evangelism & Outreach

We seek to fulfill our part of the Great Commission by reaching out to our neighborhood and welcoming all community members to East Woods Presbyterian Church.

Goals:  Equip the church and Evangelism & Outreach team members to reach out to others to share God’s word

and embrace all community members.

     We strive to create and sustain a welcoming environment

     at East Woods for all who enter the door.

Current areas of focus:  Working with others to develop

a team that welcomes and guides visitors to East Woods.

Activities include:

v   A welcome team and table for first time visitors.

v   "Welcome To East Woods" luncheon for folks who have visited a few times and wish to know more about our        church and its history.

v   Working with the Pastor & Elders to provide new member classes for folks who are considering becoming members.

v    

     Creating and sustaining materials which advertise to our community East Woods’ services, programs and events.

v   Evaluation of need for materials & training we as a church

     and individual members can use to fulfill the great

     commission.
